Step 1:

– Your Software Serial No. (something like: CSA1234567 / ABCD)
– Your Registered E-mail Address (i.e. the E-mail address registered with us for receiving a password)
The password will then be sent to your Registered E-mail Address.

Download the executable file (“csaexpupdate.exe”) and run it using the password stated in the email.

Problem with accrued vacation corrected
We have finally corrected the accrued vacation problem.
If you have experienced the similar problem please let us know.
For those systems that are under the management of our Internet Server, we will make the update to it.
For those systems that are under the user’s own environment, please contact us for the system update.

Accrued Vacation When Promoted
A CPAnywhere user had reported to us that there may be an error in the automatic calculation of accrued vacation.
This situation may occur when:
1. the vacation accrual policy is based on the job level and
2. the staff gets promoted with the different set of vacation accrual policy.
If you are currently using the Automatic Vacation Accrual function please let us know.
We are looking into the problem and trying to find a solution.

CR revised 117 specified forms
The Companies Registry (“CR”) has revised 117 specified forms for the major purposes of:
- adopt the Business Registration No. as the Unique Business Identifier (“UBI”) of a company,
- a new structured format for reporting addresses,
- revised format for reporting details of shareholders and,
- addition of fields for reporting of Trust and Company Service Provider’s (TCSP’s) licence number for a company secretary.
Transitional Period:
The implementation date is 27 December 2023. There is a transitional period of 6 months that both old and new forms are accepted, except:
- NNC1, NNC1G, NNC5, and NN1 have a shorter transitional period of 4 weeks. Only new forms are accepted from 25 January 2024 onwards
- forms for open-ended funds do not have any transitional period
Arrangement of CSA update:
We will update NNC1, NNC1G, NNC5, and NN1, as well as NAR1 and NN3 in early December 2023.
The remaining forms will be released phase by phase in 2024 before the expiry of the said transitional period.
