Which law requires you to file STR?

In Hong Kong, the following legislation has been enacted, in part, to address the problems associated with money laundering and terrorist financing. Suspicious transaction reporting requirements were first introduced into the Drug Trafficking (Recovery of Proceeds) Ordinance in 1989. Similar statutory reporting requirements were also included in the Organised and Serious Crimes Ordinance and the United Nations (Anti-Terrorism) Measures Ordinance, respectively enacted in 1994 and 2002.
